The Entrance Exams Deadlines Changed

Entrance exams are expected to be postponed for a period of two weeks due to the change in deadlines for passing the school-leaving examinations.
Studying Japanese language

Elena Batotsyrenova, student of History department, spent a term in Japan. Her language intership, which took place in the framework of cooperation between ISU and Hirosaki University, has recently ended. Elena told about studying at the Japanese University.

An Internship in Japan
25 February
Maria Kuznetsova, graduate student of ISU History Department, has ended a six-month internship in Japan. She passed the internship at the University of Hokkaido as part of the Russian-Japanese educational project RJE3.
World-class Science for Secondary School Students in Irkutsk

A new scientific project “ISU– RAS: a Way to Big Science” started at the end of January. The project is initiated by Irkutsk State University, the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Education Department of the Irkutsk Administration. Under the project, leading scientists of Irkutsk region deliver lectures about bright achievements in modern science, and illustrate how discoveries could change human life.
