Grading system at ISU

Note:

  1. In the Russian Federation (RF) study load is evaluated in «академические часы» (academicheskie chasy - academic hours or AH). 1 AH = 45 minutes. At ISU student’s load is also evaluated in ECTS credits. Student’s load involves lectures, practical and individual work - all work required for examinations. The basic allocation of academic ECTS credits is 60 credits per year of study. Credits are awarded only when the course is completed and all the examinations are successfully passed.
  2. 1 week of full-time study = 54 AH = 1.5 ECTS credit.
