In December 2019, the team of the ISU Research Institute for Lake Baikal Legal Protection, have become one of the winners of the scientific projects contest organized by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research. Dmitry Shornikov, ISU Law Institute associate professor, supervises the project called “The concept of International Legal Protection of the Lake Baikal Ecosystem”.
