Abstract

The monograph is the result of one of the attempts to systematize, analyze the accumulated knowledge in the field of innovative personality research. The results of the conducted research are of indisputable scientific interest, therefore, the authors pay great attention to the study of the innovative potential and innovative activity of the individual as indicators of how much a person is ready to realize the resource available to him in specific acts of life. The monograph includes two sections: the current state and directions of research of the innovative potential of the individual in psychology; problems and prospects of research of the innovative activity of the individual. The authors use a large number of examples to illustrate both qualitative and quantitative methods of studying the innovative potential of the individual, the innovative activity of the individual, developed and verified specialized semantic differentials for their evaluation, created and verified a model of the innovative activity of the individual and presented the psychosemantic structure of the innovative personality.
