Abstract

Selected materials of the 16th Baikal Russian Social and Humanitarian Readings dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the constitution enactment of the USSR, the 300th anniversary of the Siberian expedition of D. G. Messerschmidt and the 105th anniversary of the Irkutsk State University are published. The materials of the conference represent the main directions of research of scientists studying the issues of the history and current state of Russian society and the prospects of its development. The proceedings include the results of the Russian political science conference "Region in the Country and the World - Trends and Dynamics of Political Development" and the Russian Social and Political Science Conference "Region in the Country and the World - Trends and Dynamics of Political Development", and also the Russian Social and Humanitarian Conference "Siberia in the XVII-XXI centuries: History,geography, museology, culturology, archival studies".
