Abstract
Scientific materials reflect the priority areas for the study of threats as a complex social phenomenon of the 21st century in the dynamics of socio-economic, socio-political and socio-demographic processes in Russia and the world, classical and modern approaches to the analysis and forecasting of macro-systemic and micro-systemic threats, social tension and global instability. The authors of the publication analyze the technologies and practices of managing social processes in Russia and its regions in the face of growing threats, challenges and risks. The main conceptual ideas and basic provisions were tested at the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Threats as a Social Phenomenon in the 21st Century: Methodology, Modern Technologies and Practices for Managing Socio-Economic, Socio-Political and Socio-Demographic Processes in Russia and the World" (Moscow, Russia) Irkutsk, December 15-16, 2022). The attention of the authors is focused on the scientific, civilizational and digital dimension of the nature, nature and scale of threats to society and the state, the well-being of an individual, the construction of modern forms of partnerships between civil society and government in the context of the implementation of national security strategies in Russia, the modernization of the methodology and technologies for preventing threats in various spheres of life of modern society. The publication presents a wide range of scientific approaches and discursive technologies of interdisciplinary, sociological, economic, demographic and statistical orientation, reflecting extensive research work and managerial experience in establishing the methodological foundations for preventing threats at different levels. The publication is intended for the scientific and educational community, leading subjects of regional development, representatives of authorities, business and the public, as well as for everyone who is interested in technologies for preventing threats of various nature and complexity in Russia and abroad in the context of digital transformations and global tension.
