Abstract

The selected materials of the Fifteenth Baikal socio-humanitarian readings dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the formation of the USSR, the 85th anniversary of the Irkutsk region, the 240th anniversary of the Irkutsk Museum and the 250th anniversary of the birth of M.M. Speransky are published, which give an idea of the main research directions of scientists studying the history and current state of Russian society and prospects for its development. As well as the materials of the Political Science Conference with international participation "The region in the country and the world - trends and dynamics of political development", the Socio-Humanitarian Conference "Siberia in the XVII-XXI centuries: history, geography, museology, cultural studies, archival studies", which address current problems of history, political science, geography, philosophy, cultural studies, museology and other scientific disciplines.
