Abstract
Scientific materials reflect the problems and factors of the development of expert institutions in the XXIst century, the main activities of expert centers and expert communities in the context of the global crisis, the state and public importance of expert platforms in the context of digital transformations. The authors of the publication analyze modern expert technologies and ways to improve expert culture. Methodological and practice-oriented approaches to the study of the process of development of expert institutions in the modern world and Russia were tested at the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Expert institutions in the XXI century: principles, technologies, culture in the conditions of the global crisis" (Irkutsk, 20-21 May 2022). The attention of the authors is focused on the priority areas and areas of activity of expert institutions, the experience of expert platforms, modern models of the development of expert culture in Russia and the world, the effectiveness of public control mechanisms and civil monitoring technologies, the specifics of modernizing the mechanisms of expert activity and the place of sociology in the system of social sciences and humanities in the modern era. The publication presents a wide range of scientific approaches and discursive technologies of a sociological and interdisciplinary orientation, reflecting a large research work in establishing universal methodological foundations for organizing expert and analytical activities at different levels. The publication is aimed at the scientific and educational community, leading subjects of regional development, representatives of authorities, business and the public, as well as everyone who is interested in the specifics of the activities of expert institutions in Russia and abroad in the context of digital transformations and the global crisis.
