Abstract

The collection of papers reflects the key problems and specifics of the interrelationships of global and regional influences in the system of modern societies in terms of the dynamics of transformations of social spaces, socio-demographic changes and pandemic processes. The authors of the publication analyze the essential aspects of social changes in society taking place at the stage of the formation of a digital civilization. Methodological and practice-oriented approaches in the study of global and regional impacts in the system of modern societies were tested at the International Scientific and Practical Conference "The relationship of global and regional impacts in the system of modern societies: transformations of social spaces, socio-demographic changes and pandemic processes" (Irkutsk, December 17-18, 2021). The authors' attention is focused on new systems of social relationships, global and regional influences in the development of modern societies in the information technology era, the nature of global problems, the direction and trends of transformational changes in the social world, including those reflecting the specifics of the development of Russian regions in the era of global influences, theoretical and practical grounds for the interdependence of modern transformation processes and socio-demographic changes in a pandemic, the consequences of the impact of the global / pandemic crisis on the development of the system of modern societies. The publication presents a wide range of scientific approaches and discursive technologies of sociological and interdisciplinary orientation, reflecting both positive trends and social contradictions in the modern world. The publication is aimed at the scientific and educational community, the leading subjects of regional development, representatives of government authorities, business and the public as well as for everyone who is interested in the dynamics of social changes in the civilizational order in terms of the relationship between global and regional influences in the system of modern societies.
