On May 27, Irkutsk State University representatives met with a delegation from Heihe University.

Irkutsk State University has extensive experience in collaborating with foreign educational organizations, and partners from Chinese universities are playing a particularly important role. ISU is always open to constructive and mutually beneficial cooperation.

Director of the International Education Institute at Heihe University, Qu Zhaodong, introduced Heihe University and mentioned that the university has agreements with more than 30 Russian universities in the areas of academic exchange, academic research, cultural and sports exchanges, as well as in the area of joint bachelor’s and master’s programs.

In 2009, together with China Education Association for International Exchange, Heihe University opened a center to prepare Chinese students for further studies in Russia. This center, being the most prestigious educational center in China among similar institutions, cooperates with eight major Russian universities, including the Pacific National University and Amur State University.

Head of the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language Julia Arskaya and Deputy Director for Academic Affairs of the Pedagogical Institute Marina Pavlova presented the Institute of Philology, Foreign Languages and Media Communication and the Pedagogical Institute. They provided detailed information about their Institutes, structure, fields of study, departments, scientific research, and other aspects.
