Irkutsk State University has entered the TOP 20 technical Russian universities with high salaries of graduates in IT. Traditionally, SuperJob presents the ranking of Russian universities in 2024 according to the salary level of young specialists employed in the IT industry who graduated from the university in 2018-2023.
In the ranked list, ISU became the only Irkutsk university, taking 19th place (as in the last year) and beating some national research, federal and specialized technical universities. There are 20 places in the ranking, which were distributed among 65 universities this year.
On average, ISU graduates earn 135 000 rubles per month (in Moscow), salaries have increased by 5 000 rubles since last year. The ranking also provides data on graduates who remained in the city they studied in, which is 74% of graduates of ISU. IT specialists are trained at ISU Institute of Mathematics and Information Technology, at the Faculty of Physics and the Faculty of Business Communication and Computer Science.
The constant leader of the ranking is the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (National Research University).
