ISU Professor Evgenia Serebrennikova was awarded The Ordre des Palmes Académiques of the officer degree (France).
The Order of Evgenia Serebrennikova was awarded for her services in the field of education and her contribution to the development of cooperation between Russia and France in the field of culture and language: she devoted more than 40 years of her professional activity to teaching French, scientific research in the field of French linguistics, as well as promoting the language within the framework of cooperation between France and Russia.
Evgenia Serebrennikova graduated from the Ho Chi Minh Irkutsk Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages and began her teaching career. For several years she was the head of the Department of French Grammar, then of the Department of Romano-Germanic Philology. She coordinates projects with the University of Strasbourg, Savoy, Paris-8. Projects on the theory and culture of the French language are being implemented under her leadership.
Currently, Evgenia Serebrennikova, Doctor of Philology, is a professor at the ISU Department of Romano-Germanic Philology. She continues to supervise the scientific work of graduate and postgraduate students, and doctoral research scholars. She is the author of many publications (articles, monographs, textbooks), including on the theory of the French language.
