Irkutsk State University started a course of online lectures “Russia and China: cultural and language exchange”. The participants are the students of ISU and Nanjing Normal Institute of Special Education of Jiangsu Province (China).

The training event is held in the framework of the agreement between the universities for the third time. The lecturers of the course are the teachers of the Department of Oriental Languages of the ISU International Institute of Economics and Linguistics and the teachers of the Chinese Institute of Linguistics. The lectures are delivered in English and Chinese.

The course’s agenda includes virtual tours of Nanjing and Irkutsk, exploring the main Russian holidays and the rules of reading ancient Chinese poems. Students are going to solve some grammar problems in the modern Russian and Chinese languages as well.

More than 70 students and teachers from Irkutsk State University and the Nanjing Institute of Special Education's Linguistics Institute are taking part in the online course “Russia and China: cultural and language exchange”.
