The 20^th Speech Contest took place online in the middle of April. The contest aims to promote the Japanese language and culture among Russian students.

This year the geography of participants is remarkable: students from Siberia, Moscow and Volga regions, Northwest part of Russia presented their speeches. The topics chosen ranged from the tea ceremony to the problems of loneliness and overcoming of life challenges.

Among the committee members were the native speakers - lecturers from Pacific National University, North-East Federal University, and Khabarovsk State University of Economics and Law.
