International Activities of Universities: Trends, Benchmarks and Practices

The representatives of ISU International Institute of Economics and Linguistics participated in the Conference “International Activities of Universities: Trends, Benchmarks and Practices”, which took place in Crimea. The event was organized by the Eastern European University Association and Humanities and Education Science Academy (branch) of V.I. Vernadsky Crimean Federal University in Yalta. Among the speakers of the Conference were Dr. Irina Belousova, dean of the ISU Preparatory Faculty, and Dr. Eugenia Kolodina, head of the Department of Linguistics and Linguodidactics at ISU International Institute of Economics and Linguistics.

The Expert Forum EEUA is an annual meeting of the universities representatives, where new directions of development and cooperation in international activities are discussed. The Forum is a place for open communication, exchange of experience and development of partnerships

This annual Forum joined the universities’ international office staff, faculty members in charge of the academic mobility, international activities, internationalization of educational programs, educational networks, recruiting international students, and etc.

This year the topics of discussions concerned the analysis of higher education export, global and Russian trends in recruiting, academic mobility, the formation of consortia as the basis for the Strategic Academic Leadership Program, internationalization of training programs as well as the organization of training of hybrid Russian language course.
