Students of ISU International Institute of Economics and Linguistics and ISU Faculty of Geology were the first in the University to defend their Diploma Projects online.

- “Undoubtedly, we were nervous about a new format of the defending process. However, it went very well. There were no problems with equipment and people (students, staff and members of State Examination Committee). We can report that distance learning makes realizing online-defending process possible.” – Dmitriy Matveev, Head of the Educational Programs Department, commented on.

The University provided the access to the online-connection for the students who did not have necessary equipment. Special places were equipped in student dormitories.
