Russian Language Courses for Mongolian Secondary School Students

Russian language courses for Mongolian secondary school students are ended with a bright festive event. Russian language courses were held for 36 students of the Darkhan-Uul aimag schools of Mongolia at the ISU Pedagogical Institute. During the week, they studied Russian language and had lectures and practical classes.

Prof. Konstantin Grigorichev welcomed the participants of the event, thanked the school and the university teachers for their work, and expressed great appreciation to the Mongolian Consulate General in Irkutsk for the provided support to the ISU projects and for the assistance to Mongolian schoolchildren and teachers.

-     ‘Today’s concert, which finishes the Russian language courses, is a continuation of our joint path. Interaction with Mongolia, with Mongolian schools and universities is a large part of the Irkutsk State University’s life- Prof. Konstantin Grigorichev, ISU Vice-Rector for Research and International Cooperation, commented on.  

The courses are held as part of a grant of the “Russkiy Mir” Foundation (the head of the grant is Irina Boyko, Associate Professor of the Department of Philology and Methodology). The grant program of the “Russkiy Mir” Foundation includes large-scale courses for teachers of the Russian language as a foreign language for citizens of Mongolia. The program has been implemented at the ISU Pedagogical Institute since 2013. The photo report is available in the photo gallery of the ISU website:
