Two post-graduate students of ISU were invited to the ceremony to be held at the City Hall. Eugene Protasov and Oksana Sokolova are awarded Irkutsk City Mayor’s Scholarship for the projects that can contribute to economical development of Irkutsk. For instance, the project proposed by Oksana Sokolova, post-graduate student of geography faculty, deals with making the city environment more eco-friendly and assessment of gardening objects in the city.
The candidates were selected by the commission that included officials, architects, engineers and scientists.
