Five students of Irkutsk State University take part in the International language school in the Christian Albrechts University, Kiel (Germany). This year there are 82 participants from 23 countries. The program of International language school traditionally consists of three parts: language training, lectures and a sightseeing tour.

- I started studying German language at school, but I did not take it seriously that time. Now when I am at University, I do all my best to master this language. The participation in summer schools gives you a lot. There is a special scholarship that covers almost all expenses except travel fares. Studying is interesting. Of course, in the beginning it is difficult to understand lectures delivered in a foreign language, but later it becomes easier, - said Anastasia Medvedeva, student of International Institute of Economics and linguistics.

ISU students have opportunity to participate in summer schools organized by other partner Universities - Adam Mickiewicz`s University (Poznan, the Republic of Poland), Changchun University (PRC), Hokkaido University (Sapporo, Japan) and Pe Jae University (Daejeon, the Republic of Korea).
