Irkutsk State University has improved its positions in the National University Ranking. The Ranking is compiled by the group Interfax in collaboration with radio station “The Echo of Moscow”.

Among 246 universities in the National University Ranking (including 11 federal universities, 29 national research universities, Moscow State University and Saint-Petersburg State University) ISU has been ranked 41st .
The ranking is based on several indicators. For example, ISU has improved its positions in such parameters as “Socialization”, “Internationalization” and “Brand”.
