The Institute of Pedagogy hosts the courses of Russian language for high school students from Mongolia. 33 students and their teachers have come to Irkutsk to master Russian language under the grant support of the “Russian World” Foundation (the Russkiy Mir Foundation). The program includes not only language classes, but study visits to Irkutsk schools.

- In Mongolian schools Russian language is taught for 3 years. But the situation seems to be changing. More and more students choose Russian language as an optional subject. Usually we organize such courses for teachers, but this time the participants are students, - Irina Boiko, associate professor of the Institute of Pedagogy, comments on.
