The student of the International Institute of Economics and Linguistics Vladimir Ushkovsky has got the 1st prize in the regional round of “Chinese Bridge” contest held on April 23.

In the regional round the students from Irkutsk State University, Baikal State University, Buryat State University, Transbaikal State University and Eurasian Linguistic Institute presented the speech on the topic «梦想点亮未来» (“The Dream Leads to the Future”) and demonstrated their artistic skills.

Vladimir Ushkovsky:
– I have been learning Chinese for a long time. Although I have been preparing for the contest for one month, I have been nervous. But my friends and groupmates have made me feel more confident, it has been extremely important for me.
