ISU students left for Adam Mickiewicz University, Poland. Within the international exchange program, ISU History faculty students –Tatiana Abaturova, Yulia Kislova and Tatiana Ukhova - are to study at the AMU Faculty of Political Science and Journalism for two months. The exchange program includes such courses as “Region Studies and Regional Development in Europe”, “History and Theory of European Integration”, “Regional Conflicts”, “Global Politics”, “Modern Political Systems of Balkan States”, “Local Media Landscape”, “European Movie Market”, “Culture and Society in Communist Poland”, “European Traditions and Diversity in a Geopolitical Perspective”, participation in scientific conferences and Polish language courses for international students.

At present, 15 ISU students from History faculty, Philology and Journalism faculty and Service and Advertising faculty are taking courses at Adam Mickiewicz University. Besides, the associate professor Vladimir Rabinovich, the head of ISU Department of Advertising, is delivering lectures in PR in Poland.

Reference

The Cooperation Agreement between ISU and AMU was signed in 2005. Since then over 400 students and faculty members have participated in academic mobility programs supported by two universities. The international exchange programs include short-term study visits, pre-graduation practices, exchange of information and literature, joint conferences, workshops and colloquiums. Faculties involved in the program: Philology and Journalism faculty, History faculty, Service and Advertising faculty, Geology faculty, Biology and Soil Studies faculty and Law Institute.
