ISU students took part in the Young Researchers’ Forum “A New Generation of Researchers Develop Modern Science” that was held in Sevastopol at the beginning of October. The Forum was organized by the Russian Ministry of Education and Science in partnership with Sevastopol State University.

Over 450 students, post-graduate students and scientists from 200 Universities and Research centers of Russia, Armenia and Belarus took part in the Forum. The Forum program included 11 sections to consider research papers in fundamental and applied sciences. 

Zinaida Efremenko, a student of Biology and Soil Studies Faculty, presented her research paper “Biocomposites Made of Raw Wood and Basidiomycete” and took the second place in the section “Agro-, Bio- and Food Production Technologies”.

Yevgeny Belyaev, a student of Institute of Mathematics, Economics and Computer Science, took the fourth place in the section “Mathematics and Mechanical Science” having presented his paper titled “Control Problems in Models of Mechanics”.

In the section “Earth Science and Environmental Management” the presentation “Physical and Chemical Modeling Used for Analyzing the Mineral Composition of Carbonaceous Sediments at Lake Khubsugul by Ekaterina Lukyantseva, a master-degree student of Geology Faculty, was included into top 10 reports.
