ISU Professor is “The Enlightener Prize” Winner

ISU professor Stanislav Goldfarb, the head of Mass Communications and Multimedia Department of Service and Advertising Faculty, has become “The Enlightener Prize - 2015” winner.

 “The Enlightener Prize” is a literary award created by the Dynasty Foundation in 2008. The prize winners-2015 were announced at the press-conference on October 6th.

In the short-list of nominees there were 8 authors: 4 books included in the category “Nature Science” and 4 books - in the category “Humanities”. Besides, there were two special nominations. ISU professor Stanislav Goldfarb’s book “Baikal World” (2010) has been announced a winner in the nomination “Local History”.

Stanislav Goldfarb is an ISU professor, a former head of PR and Advertising Management Department at Philology and Journalism Faculty. He graduated from ISU History Faculty in 1979. Prof. Goldfarb is a member of Irkutsk Culture Foundation, a prize winner of the national award “Media-Manager-2008”, and the author of over 200 books.
