Once again the ISU Baikal International Business School has been ranked among best-performing business schools. The ISU Baikal International Business School was placed fifth among MBA programs in the rating compiled by “MBA in Moscow and Russia” and Job.ru web-portals.

The rating is based on the on-line questionnaire of more than 1440 persons graduated from business schools in Moscow, St.-Petersburg, Kazan, Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg, Astrakhan, Ufa, Chelyabinsk, Novosibirsk and Irkutsk.

The main criterion was determined as the education outcome. The alumni were asked to evaluate their business schools by the following characteristics: income growth, career progress, business contacts, personal and professional development. Every characteristic could be measured in a five-grade scale: from 1 point (“ineffective”) up to 5 points (“maximum outcome”). Then there was calculated the average index for every school.

Thus, only 22 business schools out of 50 were included into the short-list of the rating. To minimize the margin of error the rating place was given to schools scored the final sums with margin less than 0,05.

MBA Program has been implemented in ISU Baikal International Business School for 10 years. This program is aimed at top and mid-level managers working for large regional companies, businessmen, entrepreneurs and those interested in moving forward. Having MBA degree means promotion at work and progress in business, Nadezhda Grosheva, the dean of Siberian-American faculty at Baikal International Business School, noted.
