A Study Visit to Kanazawa University
Two students of ISU visited Kanazawa University to take part in the educational program organized for students from Irkutsk State University, Kazan Federal University and Krasnoyarsk State Medicine University. The program included classes of Japanese language, lectures in Japan’s social system as well as workshops demonstrating famous Japanese traditions of making tea and wearing kimono. Students were invited to visit village Gokayama, a world heritage site in a mountain region.
– All the participants of this program demonstrated a special interest in learning Japanese language and culture, we took part in a number of workshops and discussions aimed at sharing experience with Japanese students. We hope we can contribute to developing dialogue between Russia and Japan in the sphere of education and science, - Anastasia Sapunova, ISU student concludes.
