The International scientific and practical conference “International cooperation between Russia and China” was held at the ISU International Institute of Economics and Linguistics. The event was dedicated to the 105^th anniversary of ISU, the 30^th anniversary of the ISU International Institute of Economics and Linguistics and the 30^th anniversary of cooperation between ISU and Liaoning University (Shenyang, China).

The conference participants are Russian and Chinese students, postgraduates and teachers of ISU and Liaoning University (Shenyang, China). All reports were delivered in Chinese.

At the plenary session, Professor Li Rui, lecturer of Nanjing University, made a report on “Cooperation with universities of Nanjing, China”, Irina Gogoberidze, lecturer of the ISU IIEL, made a report on the 30-year joint work on student exchange between the ISU and Liaoning University. ISU students also presented reports at the meeting: Anastasia Ponomarenko (1^st year student, Law Institute) – “Russian-Chinese interpersonal and cultural exchanges”, Ge Yu (4^th year student, IIEL) – “Friendship and cooperation between Russia and China”. The work of the conference continued in two sections: "Economic cooperation" and “Humanitarian cooperation”.

    “Such conferences are a good opportunity not only to discuss common issues in the social and economic development of the two countries, but also an opportunity for Russian and Chinese students to communicate, an opportunity to improve their professional knowledge in the field of economics and Chinese. We are very pleased that our student exchange cooperation, suspended due to the pandemic, will resume this year and the first group of Russian IIEL students will go to Liaoning University for an internship in August.”
